Hi, I’m Saskia Saunders, the face behind The Squeak Shack!
Animals have always been a big part of my life — from growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs to working hands-on in pet care.
Over the years, I’ve worked in a dog grooming salon, where I earned my Animal Care Level 2 qualification (specialising in dog grooming), and later at a veterinary practice as a vet nurse assistant, helping with consults, and surgical aftercare.
I’ve also completed my Level 3 Animal Welfare officer qualification and I’m DBS checked, so you can feel confident your small pets are in safe, experienced, and loving hands.
Running The Squeak Shack from home allows me to offer truly personalised care, ensuring every guest feels relaxed and right at home.
